Until there is a massive change of management and direction at Sprint, expect this stock to tank.

For every share you buy of this company, you get $3.50 in cash. Not to mention $35 billion in assets and the new black gold - bandwidth. Too bad CalPERs has their disgusting claws all over this thing, otherwise it would be worth $60 billion instead of $6 billion
Recs
$500 million cash burn per year, cash and investments has dropped by $2.5 billion in the last 4 quarters. Only 1/2 the subscribers of either of its largest competitors. Negative network effect.
Recs
Only postpaid carrier with unlimited data, and also the cheapest. However even though they are the cheapest, they have a lot of customers coming in to get upgrades to the iPhone or looking to upgrade to a new phone because sprint's last blockbuster selling phone was the Evo 4G (which is 2 years old already). This means more customers coming in and renewing their 2 year contracts and getting Sprint's new iPhone (or the new Galaxy S2 when it goes down in price, as Sprint's customer base is very money conscious). The iPhone in Sprint's lineup = Stealing T-Mobile customers who were waiting for the AT&T -- T-Mobile merger to get their iPhone. This will lead to a good earnings report to come Wednesday (2/8)
Recs
It's being traded below it's book value and will definitely see growth with the addition of the iPhone and it's about to roll out it's own 4G network.
Recs
s&p will beat sprint flat out
Recs
Relentlessly beaten up by the market (or beaten down, I should say), Sprint has fallen too far, in my humble opinion. If it stays down here with no negative news in particular, I may just put some real money to work in this name, as well.
Recs
Sprint is making moves to become a premier Cell phone provider with the inclusion of LTE to their existing WiMax network. This will give them access to higher and more dependable 4G speeds in addition place them in position to have the iPhone with 4G LTE chip set. Lastly the unlimited data network maybe a growing pain for Sprint but this feature will entice many new customers to join the ranks with Sprint. Look for them to continue to grow revenue and Contracts through 2012 and beyond.
Recs
Opportunities will be taken, alliances are being formed, bottom has been reached. No way but up.
Recs
4G infrastructure is what current technology outfits are migrating - on all levels. Just look at what Intel is doing...
Recs
Third tier carrier which offers more benefits to the consumer which eventually will pay off
Recs
Ok, let's try this again.
Recs
making big/key strategic moves that will pay down the road...buy and hold.
Recs
ATT attempt to buy Mobil One will not be permitted and Sprint will benefit by picking up a portion of the customers.
Recs
can't keep Sprint down forever and 2012 will be a good year for Sprint
Recs
Until 4g/LTE system is complete and they start getting customers back from ATT and Verizon they will still struggle.
Recs
Seems cheap for a company making fundamentally good decisions, despite being in a difficult situation
Recs
They've stuck around, and offer good products/good service. The stock was pushing 6 before they even had the iphone, yet now its barely pushing 3 on a good day... It's understood that the iphone is a significant investment but it's a required step if the company wants to stay competitive and was honestly not a surprise to me back when it was announced. Wallstreet punished sprints boldness, I applaud it.
Recs
Recs
I admire their courage to differentiate and make the big bet. This company has been treating their customers right with the best pricing in the cellular industry. While that will affect them negatively over the next twelve months, it will win them some new customers. The analysts have already punished this stock's price and there's not much further to drop. I expect this company to fight their way out, or be bought out while they're trying.
