4G will see decent success, with nothing from the competition even starting until next year. Verizon will have their system rolled out by around 2012, so Sprint has a huge headstart. Verizon will not get the iPhone--they are focused on Droid and tear up the iPhone in their advertising. There is a good chance Apple will bring the iPhone to Sprint 4G.

This met a high level screen to indicate a buy and strong outperform against its peers (other tickers in its industry). My 1st version of this spreadsheet devles deep into the company's balnace sheet and recent income statements, combined with other relevant price data for the company including insider/institutional holdings, short interest, debt levels, etc.
Testing capabilities of this 1st version of my automated, valuation spreadhseet matched with my personal criteria and see how it holds up.

IMO: Lack of incentives for sales people, poor working environment, lack of promoting based on merit and performance, allowing those who had experience and years of above average performance to depart via voluntary severance while keeping managers who continue to post sub-average performance, failure to position company versus competition, poor use of capital as evinced by historic low ROE's, poor capital structure, will lead to BK.

Sprint is great cell phone service plan. My brother has been with them for over 5 years no complaints. He is one of many happy customers. Not everyone worries about the newest blackberries and iphones. target $5
