I don't always drink beer, but XX and SAM taste great, whilst Bud, Corona and most other bland brands taste horrible. In the 1970s, Carling Brewing was the biggest beer company in the world. They went belly up because their beer tasted like Corona/Bud (boring). People will figure this out eventually and "everybody" will drink SAM and XX, or another craft/foreign beer with actual FLAVOR!!!

at 190, with a solid margin and in an industry that seems to be growing, this looks like a good buy. Here in Guatemala there seems to be a lot more choice available in beer (and spirits in general). I think that people will continue to expect good choices as the global market ups quality. This will favor high quality brands over commodity type brands in the word. This a good thing for quality that is just starting on the global market.

Even here in Central America I can now get Sam Adams at Walmart.

as more beers are added, and the company diversifies or gets bought out, people with great taste will choose some of these brews.

Craft beer continues to take share of total beer. Boston Beer has plays in other exciting segments - Angry Orchard and Twisted Tea. Great management

It's Boston Beer - who doesn't like that :) Plus it's had a pullback and will eventually move forward again. It's a great company.

It's time. One of the highest quality businesses out there. If you are thinking they're done because they're "too big to be craft" anymore you're doing it wrong.

People drink beer for some unfathomable reason. Boston Beer makes beer that tastes a little less like piss than other companies, therefore, it will do well.

Topped off my position to bring it up to 2% of my portfolio. Price has been taking a beating lately (30% off all time highs). Business pretty much as usual otherwise.

Perennial outperformer that we're finally getting a good price on. I'll drink to that!

The market for craft beer is growing, and we've got a management team that is executing very well. I think SAM's footprint is much larger in five years than it is today, as they expand distribution and their brand. Outperform.

The local craft brew scene is simply exploding. In my medium-sized town, we have gone from one local brewery to about 6 in the last few years. Sam Adams is a well run company, but the limited shelf space is getting ever more crowded with local/regional brews.

Craft beer isn't going anywhere. The beer revolution started only recently in the last decade and is getting stronger every year. Americans are waking up and realizing they don't have to drink watered down, tasteless, fizzy lagers anymore.
