You have St. Patricks Day coming up which is the mother of drinking holidays, and the fact summer is fast approaching. Can't wait to crack a cold one myself. Boston Beer Company continues to thrust itself into the market place with good beer as well as teriffic product placement.

Hey lets get to the real reason this stock will perform now and into the future as long as they dont try to fix something that is not broke. They make and sell a "resource " that a majority of people in the world want and even some need and that my friends is BEER! This company undoubtedly will keep growing as long as they dont over extend themselves in the international market. That market needs expansion but at a slow pace because lets get real here the beer that comes from international sources is far different than our domesticated brews. There are different standards by far as we all know. Expand domestically first and formost because that is where the bread and butter will come from mainly until you can get a niche built up over time internationally.

Beer continues to be a favorite drink, and is only more coveted during a down-time in the economy.

Additionally, the S&P 500 is over-valued.

Great product, great following... I know I've personally thoroughly and tirelessly researched the majority of their product line. This should perform very well, especially with St Paddy's day and warmer weather just around the corner...

Although no one, including the market "gurus" (or myself), can accurately predict where a stock is going long term, my gut feeling is SAM will outperform the S&P over the next 12 months.

The media is pushing an economic downturn and, unfortunately, the American public believes everything box tells them, so I forsee the market underperforming or going sideways for a while. In the meantime, when times are bad people consistenly do a couple of things. One of them is drink - usually more. Samual Adams beer is in high demand. They have a great marketing campaign. They are expanding all aspects of the company - production, management, marketing, profit, ect. SAM just needs to control cyclical costs as the ecomony shakes out and they should easily out perform the S&P over the next 12 months.

Taking into account the normal seasonal dip, I'm guessing (yes, no matter who is making the call whether it's the Fools or Cramer or myself, it still just a guess) 18-23%.

Samuel Adams is currently the leader in beer innovation by developing seasonal beers with an array of spices and flavors. Many consumers have switched from the low end beers to an acquired taste of seasonal beers. Sales are up for the Boston Beer for this reason.
