The wraps are coming off this Vancouver-based gold streamer. New investors have been introduced to Sandstorm at mining confabs in New York, London and Toronto, and transaction volume has increased along with share price. Another bump will come with the March earnings announcement. Long term, Sandstorm could become the proxy for gold that Silver Wheaton has been for silver. The common link is Nolan Watson.

i have to thumb this on CAPS, but irl i hold STTYF (metals+energy) because gold is probably overvalued right now, whereas metals+energy are less so, and will always be more useful. in any case, brilliant management, solid business model, etc. i might buy some of this depending on if we have QE3 in the US or not.

The more I read about this one, the more I wish I had doubled my bet a few months ago. I placed a small bet around the price where I have the green thumb in Fool - but wow, great management and great method of capitalizing off of inevitably higher gold prices in the foreseeable future. I know I should buy more - just having issues paying almost 70% more when I could of bought much cheaper than today's price!! I know, I know; I should just close my eyes and pull the trigger!!
