This is a miracle stock! I picked it at 35 cents per piece and look how high it is LOL omg my only regret is that I spent pennies to buy them and I should have bought like 1000 times that shoot. This is a great company, Buy Buy Buy!

The momentum of August & September should lead to a strong start to the 4th quarter.Company will be thrilled with a zero comp for retail for the year.Since the ending of the retail partner program sales at most nearby stores have seen an increase in sales as this field hated program came to an end after over 3 years.Company is beginning to realize once again that SC stores are a destination store for many consumers.Store closings continue with the current count at just about 400. I just retired (compliments of SC stock increases) from SC after over 10 years of working in the retail field.

I use to own one. But one downfall was you woke at times sweating to the bed. Seems don't mind that.

When The Fool drops it after recommending 4 times, throws in the towel, it says something. Also, I have recently polled multiple colleagues and they are buying TempurPedic- no one is buying Select Comfort. TPX also appears to be much better run company.

Can only go up, stock completely beaten down, no point in selling, might as well hold and see what happens.

Who's gonna pay all that money for a "quality" bed when they can't put gas in their car?

Either it is going up or it is going bankrupt. Not much in terms of assets, but you think the brand itself would be worth its current market cap. Plus, a few years of good management means this could be a ten bagger in a decade. Certainly in caps it is worth losing the 50-100 points for that possible gain.

I was dragged kicking & screaming by my husband to one of their stores but ended up a believer & an owner of one of their high-end beds. Sometimes it takes something drastic to cause change & what at first looks like a disaster turns out to be a blessing in disguise. Select Comfort has a great product but a horrible CEO that has almost driven the company into the ground but what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. SC will climb out of this hole & emerge a stronger & better company because of the adversity. Remember too....20 yr olds can sleep anywhere, anytime & on anything. 50 yr. olds need help! (Old) People will always look for ways to improve their sleep quality & Select Comfort will be their bed of choice.

Huge upside for profit here. This "recession" obviously kicked them hard as well as the horrible management. This is a perfect example of buy low.

Stock has hit rock bottom. For value investors a company that throws off lots of cash like SCSS is a dream at these prices. 1 or 2 more difficult quarters, then steady appreciation is my assessment.
