Select Comfort Corp. (NASDAQ:SCSS)

Market is too competitive, and only could focus high end segment. Huge price pressure.

This company has a superior product that they can sell at a premium; couple that with a reasonable P/E ratio and long term growth prospects, and we have a winner for the long haul.

Great beds and Great company.

Personal experiance with the company (at least in Salt Lake). They have been predicting for 3 years that they will need to expand or add another line to produce the check valves and pump assembly to meet demand. They still have not done so, and must be able to meet demand with existing equipment. If they thought they were tapped 3 years ago, how much has demand really grown?

Great sales, cash, and ROI growth

As prices for the Sleep Number bed decline more people will be able to afford this bed. I just bought one seeing the overall value in the Sleep Number bed. But after four years, sales will reach a saturation point and copycats will come along eating into mrket share and profits.

turnaround value

Me gusta. They have had their good days, and are low. As the saying goes

Yahoo gives 'em a PEG of .8 and I've never seen a whole page of 99's giving a thumbs up to a stock. This stock has gotten slapped hard the past year for being a bad, bad bed. But I doubt it deserved as much punishment as it got. Look for an ammendment to its ways in the next 12 months. If you can't make up your mind just now, then sleep on it.

I slept on their matress one time, and my back has been soar ever sense. I am basically crippled and have to sleep on the floor ever night. I went to an attorney if I could get SSI, the mattress is now exhibit A. This company is crooked!

I just dont see the upside with this stock.

Well run company. If you ever spent a week sleeping on a Select Comfort bed you would never sleep on anything else. The word is getting out.

Good product, efficient manufacturing model, positive demographics trend.

I've slept on a Select Comfort Sleep System for more than 7 years. It's very comfortable, reliable and I love how I can adjust each of two mattresses with just a click of the controller's buttons. They have high name recognition. I see their advertisements on television with great regularity.

Aging population

Based on the individualized adjustable comfort and improved rest provided by the SCSS bed I predict that sales will grow exponentially as word of mouth experience is shared.
We have had our bed for 4-5 months now and at least two people have bought one based on our experience. One problem I have always had with traditional mattresses is that they start out being very comfortable and change over time. SCSS allows for adjustment to accomodate soreness or extraordinary tensions to provide restful sleep.
