oil/energy stocks are getting hammered but I think it is overdone for SE. I think now would be a great time to buy some shares for real. Could go lower though

Oil probably oversold. Solid company in the energy sector.

Getting hit really hard from the oil price drop. Great company that I think will return when the price returns to it's normal levels.

After the big drop in oil prices, I asked one of the smartest Fools for his top picks in the energy sector. This is one of them.

While somewhat overvalued, it has a good dividend and decent fundamentals

Nat gas pipeline biz and western Canada, too, should come back with a roar, especially if a "free market" Congress allows LNG exports, which I believe will happen soon enough; the Republicans will probably have the Senate come January, 2015. PS. Harry Reid is the sum of all fears. Mitch McConnel is our guy.

Sempra certainly is not cheap compared to its peers, but I am intrigued by the potential for it to form an MPL and the LNG export terminal that it has in the works. Throw in a nice dividend and we get paid to wait for those potential catalysts.

This is a balloon with gas, so up, up and away. Too much gas is a danger so buy yourselves gasmasks, just in case.

Significantly higher margin with a much lower P/E than most others in the industry, nice dividend yield, and natural gas is going to be more and more popular as a fuel choice in the near future.

As a long term player, I'm bullish on financially healthy companies in the natural gas arena... such as Spectra. Must be willing to hold for 3+ years. Natural gas production will (already has) fall off as companies move to oil production. Over time, natural gas demand will return coupled with low supply (due to lower production over the near term (1-3 years) future)... naturally bringing the price back up for natural gas... and the foolish investor will win.
