Hopefully Sharper Image has kept some Ginsu knives in stock to fall on. This company is a dog.....which is probably what the "Trump Steaks" are made of. Please, who thinks $3500 steaks are going to be the next big thing? The only hope for the shareholders is if one of the big boys (girls?....no really boys) decide to buy the name, close the stores, and put this puppy to bed.

I don't even need to look at a balance sheet to know to avoid this stock.

They sell ridiculously overpriced fad products. Their store products look like products out of one of those overpriced airline catalogs. It seems like most of their inventory is catered to people who have more money than they know what to do with and just want to "buy something".

The story for this recommendation has lots of speculations. There are just too many electronic retailers in the street (BestBuy, Circuit city, Ultimate Electronics etc) and on the internet. What is the edge for this store to survive then its main house-made product is labeled as worthless? Plus, isn't it safer to recommend it when it gets all the due SEC filing done? The data in the analysis is pretty old. This is really a very risky select.

Sharper image just ain't that sharp anymore because of the amazing inroads the Internet marketplace made on the ease of buying assorted stupid tech fads.

Sharper image lacks strong Internet presence and will have limit growth by relying on their B&M storefronts.
