Over the last years they got rid of their front facing communications business and focus on the infrastructure side again. With this, they move in to the corner where rising demand of energy, transport, just serves the heated frontend markets of gadgets and goods.
They are out of the highly competitive business in the front and just serve the rising demand of these hungry end customer devices without leaving the user a choice ;-)

SI is so large and so strong but the problems in Euroland are even larger - this stock or Euro has not yet bottomed out, but will later this year or into first of next year. Patience will rule out on this one.

This is a deep value play. What is most interesting is the CAPs score on this however. Only 37 thumb down? Being a value investor I've come accept being the contrarian; having so many CAPs players being bullish is tough to sort out.
