A solidly and consistently profitable company with virtually no debt, operating in a rapidly growing field, trading at book value... Equals a great buying opportunity.

With more competition coming into this space, I believe that this market will be bigger than expected and Sigma will get their share as the market leader. Stock price beaten down right now so no better time to get in.

SIGM is world leader in high quality video on a chip.
Great reputation. Great engineering. No debt. Very good financial condition. Poised to take over control of video streaming around an entire house and all platforms.

With the recent buyout of CopperGate and the way the TV/Internet markets are converging I think Sigma Designs are well placed to make a great deal of money in the next year or so.

Good cash generator, business has been an excellent performer in terms of revenue and EPS growth, dont see that changing as soon as things calm down.

An efficient, low-debt company rocked by lower Q3 estimates. They're not super-cheap, but they'll still grow in earnings and share price in the coming year with growth in IPTV. Baird left them as an "outperform" even with the Q3 estimates.
Setting an outperform limit price of $14.

SIGM is a solid small tech company that is a play on a consumer recovery. Their focus is on System on Chip technology that is used throughout the home entertainment systems. Once the economy fully recovers and all the stimulus starts to kick in, the consumer will spend on these items and demand for their technology will increase. They have a strong balance sheet and solid free cash flow, and could a takeover candidate from bigger competitors.
