Management seems to be very focused and, given what they have done this year, on the right issues.

The company, already making a huge run in the final months of 2011, still has room to grow. Why? With a new, more ambitious, and savvy management team in place, they will likely have a substantial and permanent increase earnings power over the next year.
Recs
"Penny" stock being bought on the open market by multiple insiders.
Recs
Why? Just look at the chart. Why does this company have a four-star rating? You gotta be kidding me!

The engineers behind the gears of industry. Based in Canada, they make stuff for OEMs internationally. I'm betting on continued global recovery - and that SMTC will be "last fired, first hired" --- betting that OEMs will outsource engineering etc. first before investing in more capacity themselves.

This one is on the decline

Great earnings. Involved in healthcare devices. M&A opportunity

I've been long SMTX for years. They've been gradually paying down debt with FCF and have a decent customer base (Harris, Ingenico - two growing firms). They've closed down a US facility and ramped up their Mexico manufacturing base.
Management is not terribly aggressive at promoting the stock to institutional investors. It's been a long turnaround and I would like to see more company self-promotion of the stock.

im gonna hold on while this stock flies to the top

Everyone seems to think this is a winner. Let's see.

I love everything I see except the debt. I'm on board.

Stock is moving.

Might be doubled in one year time..

Small, unknown, profitable, growing earnings and revenue past 5 qtrs. P/E 4.74, P/S 0.25, forward P/E 9.04, ROE 55%, decent insider ownership, paying down debt. If not for the debt, this would be worth $25 or more in no time. Institutions buying like crazy. This stock is going to fly to the teens and beyond in short order. What's there not to like? It's a GEM! Glad I got in at $3.11 a couple months ago. Just wish I had bought more at the time...
