Vulture investor Wilbur Ross and his company, Invesco, have taken a 22.4% stak in the company; that's about 6% of Invesco's capital base, a sizable stake.
I'll look at the financials later. But like my recommendation some time ago on EQR based on Sam Zell's involvement and leadership, I'm willing to go out on a limb that there's more upside gain than downside risk when Ross gets involved in a company. He's a turnaround guy from the old school; and he doesn't take prisoners.

small bank, trades on light volume, but it paid back 89 mil of tarp on 4/8/09 and has 3.6 bil in assets! not bad for a bank that isnt in the spotlight

Quality of leadership has been obtained in there new President and CEO. He is a people person. The key to Sun Bank is to accept the fact that it is a local bank with one hundred branches and about one thousand employees.Encourage investment in the bank not in annuitys.
