When the take over rumors end, this stock will come back to earth hard. Even in a bad economy, SNDK losses in the 4th quarter where HUGE. The funny, thing is that i like their products. Even in better times only their patent license fees were keeping… More

Zacks 'Bear of the Day' (6/17):
"SanDisk (SNDK - Analyst Report) continued with its revenue decline in Q1 coupled with a net loss, due to declines in license revenue, retail sales and pricing pressure. We expect the losses will continue in the rest of 2009 even with substantial cost-cutting and restructuring efforts.

The company expects 2009 to remain challenging. We expect retail sales to be weak coupled with not-so-promising OEM demand due to the economic turmoil. Although the company has introduced some new products and renewed the cross license agreement with Samsung, we believe there might be risk of further downside and do not expect any meaningful earnings improvement in 2009."

Still a takeover target. Great intellectual property. Royalties from samsung alone shoul make this stock be $20+/ share

SNDK has been on my watchlist for some time now. It has consistently exceeded my expectations.

I use their products. They consistently produce excellent technology at competitive prices.

Entry is 1% away from today's close. Stop is 8% away from today's close.

The Total and All-Star bull ratios exceed 96%.
