Industry leader is likely to win. Best of breed.

Well run company with good management and technology in an growing, but rapidly commoditizing market. With competitors like Micron and Samsung, it's hard to make a buck. Sandisk and Toshiba probably can do well over time. Sandisk has some new technologies in the works that might be big in a few years.
Recs
SNDK is low at this time, when the market recovers it will rapidly reach 45$, and higher.
Recs
Knows how to bring products to market that sell. Vaulter is perfect example. IP is rock solid. PE/PS too low. Loads of cash.
Recs
near 52 week low and sector will grow this year. Sandisk is the leader of the pack. While TTM P/E is well above 100, looking to the furure at this price with expected eps of 1.50 for the year the forecast is at 24. Cheap for tech and well within reason for this company. I say hold for theyear end and check back in Feb.
Recs
Come on, this thing is WAY oversold.

This stock is too cheap at this price. I know people don't like to pick bottoms on stocks, but if you buy this one now and hold it for about 4 months, I think you'll easily take away a 25% plus gain on this one. It's not like this is a stock in the pink sheets either. It's a good company that sells quality products that the society needs, especially with the holiday season(s) right at our doorstep, many people will be taking a lot of pictures, thus requiring more sales. It's common sense people!!!! Like to hear your thoughts on this one.

SanDisk may operate in a commodity market, but so does Rio Tinto and BHP Billington.
Flash memory is massive technology trend, and supplies in flash memory becomes very tight. Consumer electronics will be massive seller during this Christmas season. Cameras, smartphones, MP3 players, and the like all require flash drives. SanDisk sales will be absolutely enormous for the holiday season as well as Q1 2008.
Recs
who doesnt have a digital camera?
Recs
TECH. Enough said.
Recs
Long term play it'll outperform in the long haul due to increased demand for flash ram as flash drives become more common and the price to produce flash ram decreases.
Recs
A decreasing deferred revenue account which is a strong indicator of future sales scares me with this stock.
Cash is king and Sandisk is not collecting enough of it. The market is tight in this industry and price competition will continue to hurt margins and sales revenues.
P/E too high for me.

The market for solid-state, non-volatile storage media is expanding at a very high rate. Every mobile device depends (or will depend) on compact flash. Storage companies are looking at compact flash as replacements for disk drives.
SanDisk has a strong foothold in this area and has the lion's share of the intellectual property.
The P/E is high but they're currently trading at 2x or 3x revenue, which is not outrageous at all.
Their biggest problems are that they are cash flow negative for the past couple of quarters, and their earnings have dropped this past quarter. The reason for the increased expenses is product costs. They will eventually overcome these as the market will continue to demand more of the product.
Recs
Sales are fantastic, needs by consumers is high, future extrapolation is through the roof. Moore was a pessimist.
Recs
Don't let the PE fool you
Recs
Explosive growth coming in the next couple of years. Irrational sell-off in the short-term is a great opportunity to buy IMO.
Recs
At the bottom.
Recs
Lots of room for expansion of flash memory.

New device to download media from internet and play on TV should be the next in the sequence: VCR...DVD...TiVo...
