+ Watch SONS
on My Watchlist
The Company is a provider of voice infrastructure solutions for wireline and wireless service providers.
high in net cash relative to market value
A "Red To Black" stock. I included my definition of that phrasein a pitch for another stock earlier this week.
I have been watching this since pink sheets. Now is the time for them to pop again.
Sonus Networks is integral in helping its large clients such as AT&T and Verizon upgrade their networks. With Verizon's net LTE Network, Sonus will see its shares benefit from this work.
Bullish on 4G; Acquisition Target
This stock has been beaten down due to Q3 results. But looking forward, the business has a lot of upside, strong financials, and should reach $4 by Q1 2011.
The internet has much growth ahead in the developing world
2011 is supposed to be a big year for this niche as AT&T rolls out its 4G wireless network, Verizon (NYSE: VZ) expands its own 4G from about 25 test markets to coast-to-coast coverage, and consumers everywhere keep jumping off their copper-scented landlines in favor of Internet calling and wireless phones. In the meantime, Sonus holds over $350 million of cash equivalents in its accounts and virtually no debt, and the company generated $9.5 million of free cash flows in the first half of 2010. This company will be alright until the orders start rolling in again, and its innovative voice traffic solutions might even make it a takeover target for someone like Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO).
Sonus stock is looking attractive with limited downside will keep moving up with his new Sonus NBS-5200 and the expansion in Central and Eastern Europe.
New platform coming out by June, 2010 will blow away current VoIP and take full advantage of data over IP. Huge market!!
Homo Sapiens like to talk, there are moments, when itis essential.Enter necessity.A relatively new medium, the internet.Opportunity.Skillful management. That aspect requires research. Intuition says Go.
Excellent and developing technology portfolio. Tough but expanding demand for products. Good balance sheet. Hard headed management.
Great profits, if you look at all the wireless companies, this one is well worth the value. Beat down under 2 bucks. What a bargain!!! Will expect to double in next year or more. By the same time next year, the price would be higher and people will still continue to buy this stock because of company's success. So next year, I don't want to hear you say that I should've listen to Simon.
Poised for gains over the next few months - perhaps significant correction considering the market.
SELL THE STOCK NOW
I've held this company for 2 years and bought at $6.I've held it, but am so sorry I bought it.
Well apportioned, great product at low cost in comparison
SONS was trading at 9.00 not that long ago. Morningstar sees itsvalue at 5.50 and is very positive on its growth in margins, earnings, sales, etc. Price is so beaten down, has almost nowhere else to go but up.
They are a leader in VoIP. The recent 4th quarter had revenues up 27% more than expected and has presented at two major business conferences over the last three days showcasing there new IMS network.
SONS is the market leader in the VoiceOver IP market which has been slammed in the last year. As recent as last year, the stock was trading above $8, but the horrible run of technology stocks and the market as a whole has driven this stock down to less than $4. however, SONS just beat analyst expectations last quarter and continues to increase an already sizeable lead in market share over its VOIP competitors. It is almost as if the "street" did not even care that SONS reported an amazing quarter--what happened to fundamentals? This stoick appears to have hit a bottom, but it has been going down like a company in trouble AND YET, there is no real reason for the retreat. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking for a bounceback---another great quarter/year---and the valuation of a very underrated stock. SONS could easily be at $5 or $6 by the end of the year.
