Generating cash, high CROIC, and selling below average intrinsic value calculations. This company looks like it has room to grow, and it is currently profitable, and affordable.

Looks way oversold, perhaps due to concerns about China's economy?

What was important for Spreadstrum was to break into the above-2G and smart phone markets. It did. That, coupled with a huge population and China and East Asia in general and the great potential for massive growth there, make this company a heavy-hitter. Just the P/E ratio alone speaks a deal to the ability for this company to perform well. No one would have an easy time finding another semiconductor company with such a low P/E and great growth potential. And if that wasn't enough, the scare over Chinese accounting practices and governance brought the stock back down for a while.

Most will agree that this appears to be a great company, but question it because it's Chinese. Well, they're buying back their stock and paying real dividends and that's not funny money. Thus, these guys appear real.

Demand for wireless mobile communications in 2G and 3G should keep this company profitible for the foreseable future or as long as the Chinese economy stays on the high growth path.

New tech in the cell phone space. Could be the next big thing. Gotta learn more about it myself before I start preaching it though.
