Following Power1234 who went long immediately after the stock price tanked 20% on news of an $15 million earnings overstatement from operations in the Phillipines. SunPower Corp is a grwing and profitable company that seems reasonably priced at 1.4 times book value. This stock is trailing the market for the last 2 years, 1 year, six months, 3 months and 1 month. I suspect the next big move will be up.

The 18% decline today due to errors in accounting procedures is over done. This is a classic example of an over reaction resulting in an undervalued stock. Savvy investors should look to exploit opportunities such as this. The stock is now trading very close to its March 09 low. Since then much has changed for the better, in regards to both the economy and this company. I'm considering putting real money into this at these levels...
