Following Power1234 who went long immediately after the stock price tanked 20% on news of an $15 million earnings overstatement from operations in the Phillipines. SunPower Corp is a grwing and profitable company that seems reasonably priced at 1.4 times book value. This stock is trailing the market for the last 2 years, 1 year, six months, 3 months and 1 month. I suspect the next big move will be up.

The 18% decline today due to errors in accounting procedures is over done. This is a classic example of an over reaction resulting in an undervalued stock. Savvy investors should look to exploit opportunities such as this. The stock is now trading very close to its March 09 low. Since then much has changed for the better, in regards to both the economy and this company. I'm considering putting real money into this at these levels... Does continue to have a serious look of green and seems to still be a big player. Along with everything else the whole sector has seen major volatility and could continue, but on the other hand if the wind should start to blow again under this industry. Then who knows what might happen in volatility ville? Company should atleast get a hard look.

With vertical integration and a global power demand for clean fuel this is the clear choice in the sector.

Solar companies will be receiving a huge influx of capital over hte next few years, especially as they start to consolidate and sign contracts for development.

Despite its lack in eps growth over the past year this is a great play for a speculative market. If you can picture everyone with solar panels on theirs homes or businesses then this a stock with top notch technology in efficient panels. They just signed the financing agreement with Wells that could turn out to be smart while no one else is doing it and waiting for the policy change. Also they are partnered with FPL (great play! hand over fister!) who is pushing for people in the state of Fla to upgrade with panels and they are supplying FPL's utility scale plants with panels. Good pricing, strong Financials, speculative, an oppurtunity to have a company that could be partnered with housing for the next 100years. At 23 buy it!!

Solar power, speculative energy bet - this sector will improve but who are the winners and losers in the end. SPWRA might be a good high risk investment.

Adding more solar exposure to my portfolio and this one looks pretty cheap to me.

As Green is gains popularity, so will the incentives given to homebuyers. Builders will add solar systems to newly built homes as incentives to buyers.
