When the economy improves so will SSCC, but more than the average S&P stock.

With the restructuring of SSCC and package season ahead I like Summit-Smurfit-Stone.

The trend is green, this is pretty green for this industry. Moving up is the only way that SSCC can go. How can anything with "recycle" in the profile go wrong in this snapshot of the market. Buy.

I have followed this for awhile, I like that fact that Weyhauser? will have effect on the stock being they are in process of buying Int'l paper

When the economy is strong, companies need to purchase boxes to ship their products in.

Nearly everything you can buy in a store or restaurant comes in a box, was delivered in a box, or contains parts/ingredients that were.

And Smurfit-Stone makes more boxes than anyone else. Nearing 52-week low due to analyst comments about profitability, but lower fuel costs should boost the current quarter. Lots of insider buying supports this feeling.

Looks like another relatively soft landing for the economy. Let's buy some boxes.
