I really like the retail and distribution part of this company and that's the catch for me.

Completely integrated natural gas company. The kicker is the string of CNG stations that Utah has where motorists can fill up their CNG cars for $5 and go 300+ miles. Screw you Prius.
Expect good things asCNG motorists cross Utah this summer and others flock there to live.

gas extortion

Well run co with ample reserves, nat gas will remain major fuel for electricity and homr heating. Nat gas should sell for $14 in future

Another energy company that has grown steadily for years, but had a major drop in price in mid-January. I believe that buying now, before it recovers from that drop is a smart choice.

Local energy company that will always make money because of it's monopoly in the area.

I have own this stock for over eight years and it have not failed me once. They have a top notch Management team and is always on exploration for new resources.

The future is bright for this company. Great earnings report, eventhough they did not get a bump in the stock price due to the big drop in the market on the same day.

Over the next few years natural gas will get more expensive. Questar is one of the few natural gas producers that have a PE under the 20s.

Good buy on recent pullback in natural gas prices

Large Oil & Gas acreage position and operating history in the Rocky Mtn Region where the best opportunities lie for signifiant new fields. Held back by Utility legacy/heritage...but thats changing.
Recs
The real estate and construction markets in some of the areas serviced by STR (like SW Wyoming, where natural gas production is on the rise, and Salt Lake City) are booming even as housing prices fall elsewhere in the country. To me, that means lots of new customers in a part of the country where people must do lots of wintertime heating.
