I got absolutely slaughtered by First Marblehead. STU looks like a safe way to play the recovery of the student loan sector. It's very cheap at the moment.

If you cannot borrow it from a Corner store loaning a maximum amount of $1,000.00 with 40% interest being charged per hundred you borrow, forget it. Banks are not giving away money any more for an education. Take high school more serious and start getting A's it will pay off in the long run to get free money. Because student loans and the question is "whats that?"

Great product and limited competition. There will always be a need for student loans as the cost of education continues to soar. Only concern here is needless government regulations.

Has been pretty consistent in both dividend and growth areas. Don't foresee any downturn in the need for student loans. In fact, rates are pretty much near the bottom for student loans, so only one way to go: up. This will bode well for STU.

This company holds my student loan debt and that of most other young professionals in the country. It pays a nice dividend and I don't know about you, but each time the FED raises interest rates my payments to these guys gets higher and higher.
