Suncor is an excellent long term investment. However, recently the stock has gotten way ahead of itself. SU has great asset reserves but is a high cost operator. They need high oil prices to remain competitive. Any short term run up in oil (now $63)… More

Although I don't think oil will go through the roof over the next year, even if it's break even or slightly down, I think this stock will outperform due to the M&A space in the Canadian Oil Sands arena. They've got some good properties that are proven with reserves that another big company will pay up for to help their bottom line grow!
