They make a lot of things that we need - and they may well be expanding.

Again I may be stretching to put this flavoring/color etc. company into a healthcare - biotechnology CAPS port, but I'm a chemist and this Sensient at heart is a chemistry company just like pharma. Plus food and health go hand in hand. Here we have a well performing company with a solid dividend unjustly sold off with the rest of the market. Worth adding here and holding long term.

I may regret this, but decided to try rating something from the 'needs more picks' list.

Fwd PE ratio of 15.5 for a company with predicted rev growth of 4% over the next 5 years? Seems a tad pricey. Company also has net debt over $500 million with a market cap of $1.24B and recently entered into a new $300 mill credit facility to replace an existing $225 mill facility. With interest rates ticking up, a slow growth company with lots of debt seems like it'll be facing serious headwinds.

If someone wanted a stock in this industry, I don't see any reason to pick SXT over Int. Flavors and Fragrances (IFF).
