Government spending is severly curtailed by reduced tax revenues. Equiping Police forces with TASER weapons will be a low priority for Police Departments who have their budgets cut or at best held flat. So expect revenues to drop qtr to qtr and year to year. Can't grow bottom line in this environment either. The only savior would be a huge international order - but that's a bet not an investment.

Insider selling, two months in a row. When the stock is sporting a 52 week low and you're the director and you GET OUT of the stock, well, that tells me something. That something is that bad news is on the horizon.

The stock could go up, even double or triple again. However this stock is far to unstable to be taken seriously. Its performance hardly reflects anything to do with any real indicator. Essentially in proportion to how radically it has been traded. For potential gain in the short term, I think the risk is far to great to justify buying at a potential low. A lot of people may be holding it now ready to sell at anything under 7.

Taser is only a multi-million dollar company. It will come out with new products, but the law enforcement sector is already over-saturated with the product, so no new purchases. Tasers financials aren't the greatest and there are so many more better companies to invest in.

Hah? I don't get it. Bad technology, only a matter of time before a wrongful death lawsuit goes sour, latest product makes no sense except for domestic crowd control. And is that P/E ratio right -- 401.50? Why would anybody buy this turkey? Why wouldn't they taser it :-)?

Also, how come the director sold 97,000 shares at 11.45? Maybe he figures that the price ain't goin anywhere but down? I am a newbie at this and I may be interpreting things all wrong, and hope that someone will set me straight.

Their overall market is small and non-growing (Police departments are not going to grow 20% per year), their earnings yield is low (assuming P/E is acurate), and cash flow is lousy and inconsistent. Better to put the money elsewhere, NFLX, etc.

Taser had its day in the sun. There is too much uncertainty about the safety of the products.
