New marketing/advertising direction and new financial leadership auger well in near term for TBL

Really? This guy has some talent - but putting "The" in front of your name and "Company" after doesn't mean you can offer an IPO.
I'll give him credit - his music isn't my type, but he made a boat load of money for the "Company" when he partnered up with Justin Timberlake and made some songs.
I'm going short for a long time on this PLAYA

The company has a strong balance sheet with no debt.
It is very well positioned for the challenging times ahead.
Also their inventories were diminishing last quarter.
In the actual environment stocks are beaten down regardless of their quality. This one is a bargain.

I need a great stock with a lot of up side potential. This stock to me is cheap and under valued. So with a little thought it I thought it would be good on my stock pick list. Check it out and see what you think about it.

I love Timberland, I just wish I knew where they were going.

Timberland is an excellent long term purchase.

Since 2005 it has been all down hill.

Have bounced back before. BMWm. Good brand name.

Looks like a good long term investment at this level... excellent brand name with quality products.

Recommended by my son who has yet to steer us wrong with a stock pick. He likes the shoe company they just acquired.

The are based on a values-based management strategy, which is an emerging trend in sustainable business and conscious capitalism

TBL is wellknown brand and has excellent products selling well in Europe. Present management is incompetent and will probably be ousted or TBL will be taken over.

I have owned a pair of Timbs steel-toe workboots for almost six years, and they have held up to everthing I have thrown at them. They cost me $90 at Safety Solutions - a great company that I hope one day goes public; they could be the Cabela's of Personal Protecitve Equipment, but that's beside the point. Recently I saw some Timberland jackets on sale for about $90. I read some customer reviews of these jackets that were very negative. In addition to the recent introduction of poor quality products, the Timberland brand is beginning to lose it's fasion cachet. Also, production costs are squeezing margins. This stock is going nowhere unless this company can focus on what it does best - making good shoes - or come up with some sexy products for which the urban fasionistas will pay top dollar.

I see stores looking for new products not timberland. I look like every shoe store in the city is overstocked with timberland and is trying to reduce inventory. they seem to be not of style and not comfortable. Nike seems to have taken a lot of business from the fashion costumer and red wing boots from the work end. construction workers are not looking for light blue or light green work boots

too much of a fad and too much compition

Look for this stock to rebound this week.
