It will be a better company with the beginning of Mt. Milligan.

I'm All In.

Best value in the market right now as long as price is below 4.

I'm feeling bearish short term regarding the broader market, and I think TC makes an attractive speculative play with their gold/copper mine coming online soon. If gold price spike so will TC.
Recs
what a turkey. i've owned this and profited greatly pre-mt milligan. don't know why i held onto some shares, and probably crazy to even think about adding. but it's getting to be bottom feeding time.

Okay stop beating the dead smelly mining company with a giant stick of analysis. They made some mistakes and Moly went south in price. Inflation is coming. So are the profits.
Recs
undervalued

TC is a Rare Earth play as well as base metals and gold and silver as by products. Their mines are in good territories many insider buying and the stock can gain momentum once again as it has already doubled and were starting to see accumulation and support at the $4 dollar level

Thompson Creek Metals (NYSE: TC) is best known as a producer of molybdenum. However, the company is in the final stages of bringing its Mount Milligan copper and gold mine into production. The mine is expected to produce an average of 194,000 ounces of gold and 81 million pounds of copper each year over its 22-year expected life.
The project has not gone as smoothly as the company had hoped. Construction costs have skyrocketed and the company has had to give up half of the mine’s future gold production to help fund the project completion. That being said, the mine has the potential to transform the company into a top performer. A further boost for the company in the next year would be a rebound in the price molybdenum, which suffered a double digit decline last year.

Commodities should rise.

It's fallen down too much lately...

Another undervalued stock which will have appreciated more than the S&P will have done five years from now. My thinking behind this is attributable to the China having changed its policies to one of growth and this will mean more steel resources will be sought by China. Also factoring in their gold and precious metals mines being in operation by the end of 2013 and this companies share price is a bargain.

Car sales came out last week all over the board, GM, F, Toyota, up 3%, 6%, and 16%Higher car sales means higher steel output and Molybdenum is a component is steel and in the tech sector there are Apple Products and BB10 coming out January 30, I believe the rare earth metals will see an upswing. {Plus, companies have $2 trillion sittin on the sidelines waiting to invest, and that cash wants to be put to work, what good is it if's earning 1% in Obama's economy?

Up today on "Fast Money" mention. So I sold a a nice profit. When quarterly report comes out, it will lose the glow and drop back below 3. And I will buy it back.
Recs
commercial production to begin in q4 2013
Recs
They have all the funding in place to complete their Mt. Milligan mine on schedule in Q3 2013. Once complete, the earnings potential from that operation should propel the stock higher...they should make almost their current market cap every ~year or so of operation. A rebound in moly prices, which is certainly not outside the realm of possibilities, can only provide additional upside.
Recs
Past the fiscal cliff, by spring mining should improve greatly

It is going to shine

Got out at $3.42, looking to get back in under $2.50. Wil be worth $6-$8 within two years
