I think its best this way. I hope I can receive money by this monthly.

They fell at the end of 2011, but by the beginning of 2012, they were already higher than they were in 2011. They fell very sharply at the end of 2011, and that could be considered a fallen warrior. It's a research company, and that will always be a priority for growing companies. If this company doesn't end up doing too well though, the entire company could go down, since it's not a necessity.

General thumbs up to Scandinavia.
Why?
A) Tops in Social Mobility
B) Tops in equitable wealth distribution
C) Tops in primary/secondary education
D) Exporters (hight tech end products, raw materials like plywood and oil, and industrial supply) who should do better as the rest of the world does.
Since this is a game about beating a general market, I figure it makes sense to say another general market will beat it.
So, I took all the stocks in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden (sorry Iceland, next time don't let your bankers run amok) that are available to Fools, and thumbs-upped them (well, except for those I'd thumbed up already.)

The vast number of investments they've made in countries that are still developing big telecommunications industries will bear fruit over the long term.

Mer ustabil i forhold til forhold i russland, pakistan og resten av asia. sterk i norge? pass paa!

I am going Norwegia wild right now. These are nice, under-covered stocks with healthy dividends and strong management. At 1/3 of the 52-week low, these guys are getting punished for sins they had nothing to do with.

Norwegian based telecom company, with extensive business in Asia (India, Pakistan, Taiwant, Thailand), and eastern Europe, as well as the Nordic region. Extremely good professionals, and well-managed company, even though the political links to Norwegian government is still strong. Actually those links are not that bad, as the Norwegian government is a bit more, let's say, developed than many other governments...

truly fantastic company all around... I was just waiting for a good entry point... I found one at the neck of a reverse head and shoulders, but since I was expecting the market to fall a bit, I waited... now the neck line is serving as a support. take a look (May 21, 2008)

Ownership in VIP brought me to Telenor half a decade ago or so.
VIP is a wonderful investment vehicle for TELN ~ and the stock price should continue to be rewarded for this investment.
Norway based TELN is attractive without VIP ownership. But...truly a feather in the cap of the company...since they do.
VIP is one of the 4 headed Dragons in RUSSIAN TELCO.

Get to know them. They are just as cheap today as they were 5 years ago...when I started playing them. Several thousand percent higher...and the growth rate still is greatly out-pacing the stock performance.
Russian discount is some of this. Lack of investor awareness is another.
VIP ROS and GLDN are I.B.D. stocks lately...so this should increase awareness.

Tough price competition in home market and sluggish foreign investments. Good fundamentals, but not the brightest market outlook.

Long play... how can this stock not be in the 60's?

A spectacular performer. This company is as entrepreneurial as they come. They make any Baby Bell you can name look like a stodgy utility stock. Wait, they ARE stodgy utility stocks.
These guys really know how to turn a Kronor.
Spectacular growth in revenues.
