My dad has been a crane operator for 20+ yrs. He states that Terex equipment is poor quality compared to other crane/equipment companies. Europe is a big portion of their sales and there is some softening there with AWP (same with U.S.), however, not to the degree that this stock has been hammered. I have been buying in the low 50's and all in the 40's. This stock has a very diverse revenue stream and geographic footprint. Strong buy with $60-65 price target in 6 months. TEX is a global manufacturer of capital equipment, including construction equipment, cranes, aerial work platforms, mining & processing equipment and road building equipment and, thus, fits the bill. The value investor in me is pleased with the numbers. TEX is trading at 51.83, with a 52 week history of 46.50 - 96.94, at 8 times earnings. Their P/S is 0.55 and their P/B is 2.06. From a financial strength perspective, TEX looks stable, with a quick ratio of .90 and current ratio of 2. I'm encouraged by TEX's healthy sales increases over the last year (in the 17-19% range) and their robust 23% 5-year growth rate. RSI of 17.35 suggests they are oversold.
