taseko mine has been under rated by other companies. This mine is bringing in profit! The third quarter was a huge profit of over 9mil compared to last quarter of 5 mil. silver and gold!

The last time I bought an undervalued mining company that was in this same situation, it was TCK at 4.02 in january. TCK is trading somewhere around 33 now.

This company is waiting for final approval from the Canadian government to start operating a mine with 13 million ounces of proven reserves of gold. You do the math. My calculator can't handle that many zeros.

Prosperity (if approved) will make it a multi bagger! I love these guys short term, but am leery about long term if prosperity is not approved! The upside is that the economic down turn has weakened governmental concerns about the environment! The need for revenue will out weight environment!

I had about 20,000 shares in TGB and yesterday bought 13,500 more. Its going up. I have done a lot of research, talked to analysts, and it was definetly going up before the increase, now I expect it to go up withing the next Month. In march there will be a second increase

Good PE Ratio and solid earning potential. Recently announced unexpected reserves at one of their 100% owned mines (however, the price of the news has been built in). Still, good solid company, albeit tied to a commodity, I think their earning potential, competent management and relatively conservative estimate formulas make this a good long term buy.

this stock is going to explode soon. The pending application for developing Prosperity project will be approved eventually. Nobody will say no to a billion dollar business.

Copper is on its way up! India and china are industrializing and demand for the dear metal is rising. Also Prosperity helps greatly for valuation, despite the fact that mining hasnt been approved. A $500 million yearly revenue TGB is sitting on literally tens of billions of dollars of gold hidden in prosperity. I see only 2 scenarios. Either prosperity gets approved, and tgb gets bought out. or prosperity does not get approved and tgb has a bright copper mining future. Either-or, this is a winner.

Taseko Mines announced a 70% increase in mineral reserves at its 100% owned Prosperity Project, from 487 million tonnes to 830 million tonnes.
The reserve increase will add 3.0 million ounces of recoverable gold and 1.6 billion lbs of recoverable copper to the Prosperity reserve base, bringing total recoverable metal to 7.7 million ounces of gold and 3.6 billion lbs of copper. This increase in recoverable metal, under present mine design criteria, extends Prosperity's mine life from 20 years to 33 years.
Prosperity now has the “largest” gold/copper reserve base of any mining project in “Canada”.
The 64% increase in recoverable gold and 80% increase in recoverable copper will allow Prosperity to operate for over 3 decades.

BTW – as a BONUS, we can’t forget the molybdenum

Gold and copper mining company in Canada. Large resource base with developed properties and cash flow to finance additional exploration.

price does not reflect value of proven reserves. I have my doubts if they can raise the capital to tap those reserves but in any case it should be a solid take over canidate.

Must ride this commodity train. Good p/e ratio and looks to have substantial copper and gold to keep them busy for quite some time.

As long as the dollar keeps falling, commodities should go higher. TGB has very low debt but it's ROE is low as well. However, with the Prosperity and Aley mines, they should start doing well.
