Since the Medicare debt and sale of losing venues
has been taken care of, management has come
back to black bottom lines. With the health care
industry and aging patients leading the wave of the
future, I have a sense of increasing revenue and profits
in the coming years. ijkaras

Considering that the stock plummeted to well below $1 and within the same year has climbed and holding steady (so far) at nearly $6 it is likely that this will increase by years end. 2010 should be a better year depending on what the earning report will reveal, since in 09' there has been a steady increase in revenue and should THC continue this trend, investor confidence will jump the wagon for profits!

This company underwent major setbacks in the early part of this century with bad press from unnecessary cardiac surguries, and an amputation gone wrong, that it nearly colapsed with stock prices tumbling from $70 a share to less than $1.00 a share. But, everyone needs healthcare, and this company knows how to wring money out of a bandage, so it is coming back and could get very strong again.

Healthcare reform beneficiary. Strong brand.

This company was on my radar before, Goldman and Sachs upgraded it to a buy from neutral. I then seen it on Mad Money from Cramer being asked about from a caller. Crammer gave it a thumbs down and said becareful.
I didn't invest now im missing the rally, but I won't miss the caps. This baby is going on the way up my prediction is $5.00 in 3-5 Months.
Real cash on the way also :)..

The Obama health care initiative has given hope to some of these hospital groups, but if the plan will really cut 2 trillion dollars from health care budget over the next few years, where do they think the cuts will come from? Do they think the hospitals will get paid more and everyone else will get paid less? Once the hype fades, "for-profit" hospitals will become the main targets of reimbursement cuts.

Decreased reimbursement (Universal Health Care) - High debt = Falling profits => Lower stock value.

Momentum stock. Big move off March lows. High debt also.

THC--We should see a Stock price increase to around $6 to $9 before years end. This all depends how quick investor confidence returns to the markeplace. Over the next several months the price should climb back up to $4 to $6 slowly but surely.

This company has turned the corner and looks to become hot in the sector.

One of the worst hospital management systems known to modern healthcare. As a physician you quickly realize that some hospital management teams have figured out that their product is great care and that to achieve great care you have to keep physicians and support staff happy and maintain cutting edge facilities. My impression is that Tenet has done nothing but the opposite of this business plan.

strong earnings report

Just might be time for this Healthcare operator to break out after several years of being in the doghouse. Baby boomers will drive healthcare utilization and demand services unlike our parents.
