I think TIE will blossom once the aviation industry begins to move forward again.
Recs
TIE has a current ratio > 5, a ROE of 18%+, it has been growing its earnings at a greater than 10% rate and it has a 2.5% dividend yield. A nice long term grower.
Recs
Temporary down because of Boeing strike is over done.
Long term excellent company and growth.
Recs
Looking at their statements, this looks like it could be a very nice long term investment. Especially considering how low it is currently trading..
Recs
I think the timing of picking this stock in SA recommendations is great that makes this stock to outperform.
Recs
They are going to start building Jet again ...

good to By here this Tie stock

Beyond the TMF pitch?
A European study of the Titanium Market showed strongly increasing demand for Titanium in both Airbus and Boeing commecial aircraft. Sooner or later aging fleets will be replaced...if not the may fall like the two Aeroflot flies of recent bad news.
The energy crisis should continue to push this trend long term. Carriers It seems are partly just waiting for Airbus and Boeing to deliver.
This may take us beyond 2009 in waiting but who cares?
My only ignorant worry: Will there be more supply cap drive prices lower?
Recs
Looks promising.
Recs
I'm following common sense and logig on this one.
Oh and you guys.
Recs
short-term pullback. Airllines will eventually have to replace their old planes. Just be patient.

best 15 caps players rating this stock call it a winner. Also, it is in the motley fool advisor for september 2008 as a buy by david.

It's Pretty! And it's cheap! Soon the demand for Titanium will be on the rise as the worlds airliners are aging and newer, lighter, more efficient planes are on order as we speak. The price will go up soon! Don't miss out.
Recs
aviation is the way to go
Recs
SA said it was good, and now it is cheap.
Recs
Current woes aside, the world will continue to need titanium, and TIE is the place to get it. Airline troubles have had a disproportionate effect on this stock price -- best to buy now.
Recs
This stock has been oversold because of negative news, particularly from Boeing and its issues with Dreamliner delays. The fact of the matter is, the fundamentals are still relatively strong. Both trailing-twelve month revenue and margins have weakened somewhat, but that is to be expected in this environment. They certainly have not dropped enough to warrant the steep sell-off over the past year. The balance sheet remains strong with very little debt and cash of over $40MM, and TIE continues to generate good FCF.
As the #1 producer of Titanium in the US, TIE will be in a very strong position once demand for new aircrafts increases. This will happen (when is the question, not if) as the airlines can't afford to keep flying older aircrafts. Furthermore, the use of titanium in military and industrial applications will continue to grow. Bottom line is, the demand for titanium is going to increase, and TIE's stock price will increase with it. If you are looking for a long-term investment, TIE is a steal at the current price
Recs
TIE is at a bargain price now at $13.47,on 9/3/08
I will be in great demand in the near future. Titainum metal will be needed for airlines needing newer lighter fuel efficient planes. Also the need for new oil rigs, and space ships.
Recs
I'll have a better pitch once I do more research, but...
The stock is cheap. Smart investors recommend it. TIE has dropped out of favor primarily to the production delays at Boeing and Airbus and the issues of the major US airlines.
However, titanium demand should increase as the aerospace giants get their act together, the government starts investing in its military, and fuel economy mandates force automakers to use lighter weight materials.
Recs
Great entry point on the #1 titanium producer. Way off it's 52 week high.
