People are learning to cut corners and buy cheaper products. Even after the economy improves, many will keep those habits and continue buying bargain brands. It's a permanent attitude change partly based on fear that the economy can downturn at any time in their lives now. People will save more and splurge less for a long time.

Half of Nov. 30's volume came from an end of the day sale of 32K shares. I would suspect it was end-of-the-month window-dressing for someone or for an investment firm which wanted to go elsewhere. This oversold condition should not last long and will probably move up from here.
