Stock is lagging sector (due for a pop). OK P/E. Good CAPS rating. Highly touted by Cramer on April 9, 2013. Good technicals (chart action).
Cramer also pointed out: 1) cool weather has put a damper on spending in the last month. 2) JC Penny has been losing market share, and the winners are the other well positioned retaailers, of which TJX is one. Warmer weather, plus the implosion of JC Penny should give a bump to the sector.

Strong e-commerce & brick/mortar profile; diversified; doing well despite europe -- looks like a winner

Good growth, clearly a long term winner, small but fast growing dividend.....should do well long term.

TJX is a stand out in the off price retail sector and will continue to dominate through expansion and continued improvement in the economy.

As long as this recession stretches on people are going to shop here for good brands at bargain prices.

A well run company.

TJ is bringing a lot of talent into their organization that will continue to increase their profits over other retailers that have failed to make changes over the past 5 years or more (ie Sears). While they will continue to carve out a market share for their business with rapidly increasing store counts and talent acquisition, they still do not hold a wide enough merchandise strategy to beat out other retailers firmly seated in the retail sector.

TJX's buyer knows what they are doing, rarely do I ever encounter poor merchandise placed on their shelves! Management is awesome and so are their store level directors, brilliance throughout TJX, I love this company!

Tailwind of the economic downturn is slowing.

I bought this stock at $19.99. Now it is at $54. "Buy what you know." Good clothes & home items at good prices, many locations, credit card with rewards. Don't think this stock will rise very fast anymore but hard to go wrong holding this for years. TJX owns TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods.
