Just bought today. Nice support level at $32 share. CF still may buy it but its already been discounted as if they wont. Fertilizer demand will go up.

I've been a fan of this stock for quite some time, but never really felt I had any new or interesting to contribute to the discussion. Last November, CF Industries got three board members they nominated elected. They waited for their nominations to get on board, then sweetened their buyout offer another four or five bucks a share. Then the board unanimously rejected the offer saying it was too low.

Think about that for a moment. Basically, three people that CF essentially bought and paid for--and those three rejected the offer as being too low. That's gotta be embarrassing for CF, but it makes me think--maybe that's because the offer really is much too low.

About the only thing that could derail Terra's continued strong performance (though not its fiscal performance) is a successful attempt to manage a hostile takeover of one of its two rivals. That could hurt the share price short term.
