This short is based on person experience..i tried to use lending tree to get a home loan and nothing came of it except for a couple of spam emails that presumably came from lending tree selling my data. didn't find their interface friendly either. complete waste of time. went to a mortgage broker in town and got a loan instead. nothing like personal experience to help inform an investment decision a la Peter Lynch.
