Paying $16.50 for what's only worth $11.10 is crazy. Why don't you just buy the underlying stocks instead? Secondly, I don't like its high exposure to the oil and mining sectors in times like these.

Oil is high. Taxes are low. Perfect combination for growth over the short term...

High Beta, possibly overvalued at a rookie glance.

Oh, and since Bush will probably invade Iran and Russia will become our arch enemy again...

Luckily I'm too old for selective service!

A closed end fund -- Russia play. Expense ratio is much higher than for an ETF

Boy I wish I would have doubled down when the summer collapse hit... I will learn. Russia is growing steady.

Russia has huge trade and current accounts surpluses, which powers its economy. An average manager should be able to outperform mature markets.

This one's an admitted risk: Russian ETF. I question the business environment as a whole but cannot deny that improvements either have been made, or are coming because the Russians want to participate in the global economy. Time will tell whether or not they can pull it off.

Emerging markets plus valuable commodities. Very few ETF like this one - so when Russia/East Europe looks doing well, everyone buys this one.
