Precision guidance tech is addictive to farmers - technology that increases productivity and input efficiencies will be a major player in the ag sector for some time to come.
Trimble is an OEM supplier to CASEIH and has a very substantial aftermarket presence with some of the best tech out there today.
Add in the market presence and 'gold standard' of the Trimble name in survey and laser tech and you have a leader in this market.

Am exposed to their products which are second to none. Most serious competitors they have purchased. There is a lot to be said for being the major player in your marketplace. Their market is quite diversified and will support them over the long haul.

Exceeding 1st Q expectations and showing a positive outlook for the coming quarter makes me feel comfortable enough to watch Trimble for 6-9months with the expectation of sure-fired funds with the possibility of larger gains.

Trimble is more than navigation. It also is in construction and agriculture. The technology is on top and areas it works in are not going anywhere. We will need navigation on land and sea, we will need to eat and we need construction.

Leader in precision GPS, with many new applications coming you haven't even thought of yet. The highest P/E stock I own by far, so I'm mentally prepared for some short term difficulty, but in the long term it'll be an outperformer.
