I believe in Cramer's ability to entertain and inform. Sometimes he is right and sometimes not but he always makes you think. I also believe in stocks with small market caps and good fundamentals like this one. If Yahoo Finance is right about how much cash this company has on its balance sheet, then it could endure two years worth of quarters like the last one and still stay afloat.

ppl need good advice and this is a good site to get it from also cramer is a chairman n hes a pretty smart guy
i think its at its lowest price now

REAL cheap. I believe the recent falloff will get more people interested in following the market -- even if not investing in it -- rather than just assuming their 401(k) is OK.

Is business lousy for financial services? Yes. Is the online ad market going down the tubes? Also yes. But TheStreet.com has ample free cash flow, and sizeable cash reserves. If management manages to achieve the 20% growth that Wall Street postulates for it, the stock is undervalued by a good 50%. Time to start outperforming again, Mr. Cramer.

Agree or disagree with him, you have to give it to the guy that he generates interest.

They have a terrific website. In this age of economic uncertenty many people will be doing more online research before making stock/option trades. I think that means more revenue to TSCM via visits and per-hit advertisements.
Recs
Pure speculation that they'll survive without a clown on tv that constantly advertise the site.

TheStreet.Com is a brandname with staying power. They have
added expenses from their new website launch and the care and
feeding of their resident Motly Fool, JC, but I think overall they will
do very well, with their advertisers, membership fees and media
partners. They have a very broad and deep range of influence
and I think it will continue as one of the most powerful forces in
the financial media.
Admittedly I bought it too high and averaged down, but it came
back to a point over break-even and I sold at above $9 a share.
When it came back down to under $8, I bought with two fists
between 7 and 8. I'm a bit more confident of TSCM the second
time around, because during my first holding period we were
still waiting to see if JC would re-up for a longer period contract.
Since that is now old news, I'm a lot more sure of TSCM.
It may not take off today or tomorrow, but in a few weeks or
months it's staying power and profitability will win out.
I think it has to be trading in the teens at least by year end.

TSCM has done a great job of improving their financial condition in the past few years, now with $80MM in cash on the books against a $280MM market cap, with no debt.
I'm not sure how interesting they are in perpetuity, but I can easily see them now being much more attractive as an acquisition for IAC or News Corp. Murdoch wants to make some noise with Fox Business and Diller doesn't have his teeth into any financial properties.
I can easily see them trading back in the $400MM range, or 40+% higher than they are now.

BooYah!
From knee-deep info to rich media in "prime time" the street dot com is one more info-channel for stock junkies or wannabies, you can even load those 3 minute clips for viewing while cnbc or bloomberg tries to sell you a Mercedes or a trip with that funny little Gnome!!
Heck I'm waiting for them to come up with a "Hannity & Combs" style stock show on their web site!

Betting on Cramer. More popular today then ever. Site is well monatized. Contrary to conventional wisdom, websites like thestreet will benefit from a recession. How? Investors will need more of an edge than ever to succed, which is exactly what thestreet does....gives investors an edge.

You got to like where this stock is at right now. It is been beaten down by the current market conditions, but has extremly good financial numbers. It has been growing net income for the past four years and earnings estimates for the next five years are very good. Cash and short term investments have increased over the past five years and so have total revenue, yet the stock has not broken the 20 dollar mark. I think that the stock will meet estimates and be in the mid twenties by late this year. The company has no debt and pays a dividend which I personally see as a plus because this company has a lot of growth potential and this combines the growth with income to get the best of both worlds.Return on Equity 37.10
Return on Assets 30.10 Return on Investments 37.10 , this shows that managment is doing a good job and that the market price of the stock does not reflect its true value. It is only fitting to end this pitch with the following: Stick with the Street (as Jim Cramer would say). BUY BUY BUY

Its hit TheStreet; value and growth metrics look appealing for patient longs $9.12 willing to ignor short-term static about Cramer leaving the show.
