Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTEK)

Solid fundamentals and solid management. The catalyst here is their expansion to Canada, Australia and soon Asia and Africa. Not to mention their joint venture with SAIC is now contracted with the State Department for an unknown portion of $10b which could really set this company off.

Just watching it.

right industry for this economy

Small cap longshot that has big growth going forward and solid future roots wrote all over it. Almost impossible to put a price tag on companies like this one because normal rules don't apply. In some ways the stock looks cheap,such as PEG .09 compared to industry average 2.6 and P/E 14 compared to industry 25. Should be one of the main contenders at the finish. 50-50 short term on the stock going up from here or down from here,but longterm looks like a big runner. Already set my price,so I'm hoping he dips to the ground,so I can get mine,and in a market like this,anythings possible. One to watch

Stock is getting pounded today after earnings and guidance. Picking it up long term at this level. If it's good enough for tenmiles, it's good enough for me.

Water slide downward today, but going to pick this one up for the longer term around $20

They have pretty significantly outperformed the S&P since January. If Obama and his cronies get their way, many taxpayer dollars will now be used for one of their intended purposes, infrastructure. Engineering and Consulting services will be required and I am only speculating that they could be a player.

Water and Wind play in one stock!

Tetra Tech is perfectly positioned to exceed expectations (Like those alliterations) with the coming infrastructure boom and the water supply doom. The next US President will have to decide what amount to spend on crumbling infrastructure over the next years, and Tetra Tech has methodically built good relations with the US government and would be my bet to help with water infrastructure projects. You can already see it occurring as the government's payments to TTEK helped their 3rd quarter 08.

In addition, with everyone excited (probably the wrong word) about the supposedly inevitable water supply decreases in the next few decades, water conservation and efficiency will be key. I like TTEK's position in both markets and they are starting to go abroad.

TTEK is increasing revenue and operating costs and has some great ratios, including ROE and forward P/E. I can luckily say I got in before the bump, but I think there is still long term upside, even if TTEK retreats in the short term.

Good long-term prospects

The backlog has grown and the profits are huge for this fiscal year. Solid talent being recruited to support their wind program and major acquisitions being sought.
