It will not be held back by the older platform of print media in developing the communities it serves. The model is needed by the other IT publishers including the big multibillion dollar IDG. Operating expenses look high for my tastes, but bottom line will probably improve with further growth. But why does a marketing company have such ugly web sites? They're going after a market (IT decision makers and buyers) that is huge both nationally and internationally. The technical staff are also hard working and very smart. The company has a great vision (highly targeted products and advertisement), it's a great work environment, and staff are highly motivated and enthusiastic. The company grew upwards of 50% a year during a bad economy. I think the money raised in their IPO will allow TechTarget to pursue their next steps in world domination.
