Nice 5 star to pick up when near 52 week low, better buy 3 weeks ago but not by a wide margin over the long term. Oil & Gas markets are destined to return to former high values, in time. Economic recovery will increase Energy demand, which will then push growth in this sector and the overall economy which will lead to more demand, etc.

Supports the energy market but not directly an oil or gas company in the 5 star stocks picks in November and December of 2008

Was overdone at $24 for the company that has not shown an ability to deliver with any consistency. But in the low teens, it is overdone in the other direction. $18-20 target a year from now.

Why this stock dropped as much as it did I don't understand. I would buy this now with it lowering in price. It can only go up with oil acting like it is.

Be greedy when other's are fearful....I hear that saying in my head when I see a good stock take an unreasonable fall. And I hear it in that ominous voice Kevin Costner heard "If You Build It He Will Come" in that movie Field of Dreams. This either means I have an active imagination or Warren Buffett did the voice over for Field of Dreams. Whatever the case may be, that voice usually points me in the direction of a good value, and that's what I see with TETRA Technologies Inc. This is a solid company in the midst of a profitable windfall in a sector that has at least a good decade of growth ahead of it.
