My wife and her friends love this place. It's like treasure hunting in a discount store.

At $2.42 TUES is less than its NCAV.

Selling under book value, generating positive cash flow in terrible market conditions that will end within the next two years.

Tuesday Morning has already tripled from the time bankruptcy was rumored. With some restructuring I believe it will climb to $11 by 2010 since its shoppers are loyal and its products diversified.

As of close of business on 12/04/2007, this was a 5-star Morningstar stock that was trading below half of it's Morningstar fair value.

Nice dividend and turn-around play

They really need some new vendor blood. Too much reliance on Chinese goods puts them in competition with too many others. The compelling product in their stores used to be from their European vendors. They need to return to that mix.

christmastime is moneytime for TUES. will be back to at least $15 for the holidays

Good P/E, Good return on Equity; slump in retail is possibly nearing end. stock price at near all-time low. Company is worth nearly $15-20 p/s.

This baby is gonna fly on the next earnings release.

Company is in stasis, dead in the water and making no outward signs of renewal. I will watch for uptick in activity by management, but for next few weeks to a few months i expect little. Hard fact, same store sales down 5+% YOY and inventory sourcing of quality products is a significant contributor to the company sinking slowly into the pit of good ideas gone bad. Underperform for now.

I am curious about the... style this company is run. I think it will work in the long run. That and I just wanted to watch an monitor this company to bide my time.

Tuesday Morning Corporation (TUES) operates as a closeout retailer in the US, offering first hand home furnishings, gifts and related items. Its products are sold at 50%-80% discount as compared to other retailers and stores, with general merchandise being lamps, rugs, crystal, dinnerware, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen accessories and other various products.
The retail sector is highly competitive, with numerous operators in a variety of formats often selling similar products. As retail sales are heavily influenced by consumer’s future perceptions, any further interest rate hike, coupled with slowdown in US economy, is likely to slow down consumer spending levels. The home furnishings sector continues to be challenging one, due to an overall increase in supply of home decor merchandise and a highly competitive promotional environment.
Closeout merchandise is generally available to closeout retailers at low prices for a variety of reasons. Typically, closeout retailers have lower merchandise costs, capital expenditures and operating costs, allowing them to sell merchandise at lower prices than other retailers. Tuesday Morning regularly competes with other home furnishings and discount retailers that offer similar products.
Even with an improved inventory position heading into this year's holiday selling season, the difficult competitive landscape continues to put pressure on sales and margins. This stock is expected to underperform given the lack of earnings visibility and any major trigger in near future.
