Under Armour's brand recognition continues to grow.
I see them reaching Nike's level within the next decade.

Plenty of room to grow internationally as well as domestically in certain markets such as women's apparel and outdoor gear. Plus, founder Kevin Plank is a proven CEO who has done a fantastic job of "protecting this house!" Sorry.....I had to squeeze it in somewhere....

Under Armour is a fad, and destined to fade as Nike expands their fitness apparel to the digital world.

Interesting sports apparel company, underdog against sporting giants. Large visibility in movies and sporting events lately makes this brand accepted much thanks to famous people using it. Should be a solid investment long term

The company has a young, involved, aggressive management that has a record of consistent growth and entry into new profitable products. As they expand into new foreign markets they will continue to challenge and win market share from long established firms.

The untapped international market will be a huge boost to Under Armour's bottom line. I think that their management has demonstrated a remarkable ability to develop and market their products in the US. That should continue into other markets.

As a shareholder since 2010, UA has been one of my best investments. What I thought was just a cool brand is really the most technologically innovative clothing company on the planet. This will keep them growing strong for decades.

I have been going back and forth on Under Armour for a long time. With a P/E hovering around 60 the stock does not look cheap, but it really comes down to the fact that Under Armour is poised to continue growing in the years ahead. I think it is likely that Under Armour can grow into its premium valuation over time and beat the market in the process, which is why I am taking the leap and rating it an outperform on CAPS. Here are three quick items that make me optimistic about Under Armour's future:

-- Over the past four years sales have grown at an average annual pace of 21.68% to $2.3 billion in 2013. In the most recent quarter, total sales grew at an impressive 36.05% year-over-year. Growth is not slowing down.

-- The balance sheet looks healthy with $179.93 million in cash and $46.85 million in debt. This gives the company ample fuel to continue innovating and disrupting the athletic apparel/gear field moving forward. Under Armour's cash flow production has been sporadic over the past several years, which is the main item that worries me and will be something I watch closely in coming quarters and years, but overall the balance sheet is in good shape and the company appears poised to continue delivering disruption on a global level.

-- Founder and CEO Kevin Plank -- just 41 years old -- clearly is invested in this business for the long haul. Plank's passion for Under Armour and the company's long-term growth is evident, and it doesn't hurt that he is the majority owner by a long shot. Plank has an 85% employee approval rating on Glassdoor, and the company as a whole receives a 3.2/5 rating from employees.

Just some basic research for now, but there is a lot to like with Under Armour. I don't know if we will see the stock trading at "cheap" levels, as gauged by traditional valuation metrics, anytime soon. I am betting that over the next five years and beyond Under Armour will continue delivering market-beating returns. Outperform!

I work as a photographer for Sports Authority and I see all the new products from every major brand on the market but one company that always seems to stick out above the rest for great quality and innovation time and time again is Under Armor. I bought the stock for my own portfolio after seeing their new line of football cleats and shoes in general that are coming to market soon. The road ahead will most likely be rocky as an investment for the next few years but longer term (5 to 10+ years) seems like a no brainer that this goes much higher.

Innovator and rising star in its industry, but not for the weak of heart; expect moderate to high volatility. With any Earnings miss expect a sharp pull back, but for those with long term vision will see it as a good time to pick up discount shares. Buy the dips, expect to see ups and downs, but stick it out for 6-8 years and you should see your investment quadruple.
