Under Armour is the choice of athletic teens and adults everywhere. I see them at the Olympics and I see them at my gym. My 15yr old nephew sees them at his school and I own some articles myself. This is a company that is in tune with its demographic and is competing well with the big boys, offering quality wicking athletic wear that customers for which customers are willing to pay.

This is another consumer stock. It may suffer some with the coming depression but it is building a strong brand with high appeal among young (and even some of the old). This is one to buy and hold for years to come.

UA is creeping up on Nike with regards to market share and their new crosstrainer shoes are just starting to saturate the market. Once the economy gets squared away and people are back to spending discretionary income UA is poised for a pop.

During a depressed economy, promotional product sales (branded items) tend to slow down a bit. Things will pick back up when the economy starts to swing back again in about 6-12 months. It will outperform the S&P in just over 2 years.

UnderArmour rules! Although not as well advertised at the Olympics as I would have thought, they are burrowing into the American landscape. Great growth that continues, and the company is always innovating and finding new stuff for consumers to buy--like shoes. As a runner, I find myself buying more and more UnderArmour products. And now I own the stock, thank you.
