I'm riding the coat tails of John Burbank at Passport Capital on this one. His hedge fund had a 200% return last year and he owns this stock. I'm assuming the guy has done his homework here.

Every single one of its competitors are doing better than UEC. I'm putting this in before the market cap falls below $100M. It'll fall at least $1.

acquisition of the historic Kerr-McGee uranium database from Tronox Worldwide (which is a spin-off of the former uranium-producing giant). This information constitutes one of the largest uranium databases of its kind, covering nearly every U.S. state (with the exception of Wyoming and New Mexico) plus Canada and Australia.

Supply/Demand equation will create higher prices for uranium and miners will recover from the recent selloff.

Negative net income for 2005-2006. P/B is 10.49 so I'd say it's well overpriced. And they're apparently causing lots of environmental damage. Here's the quote ... The story has taken now a turn for the worse. A recent article in the San Antonio Express News shows exactly what URME is doing in its business operations.
“We can’t hardly use it. We’ve quit drinking our water,” said concerned neighbor LuAnn Duderstadt
“The more they drill, the cloudier our water gets,” said Craig Duderstadt
This couple had the water tested after their cattle stopped drinking from the trough.
We believe that the people of Goliad Texas will successfully be able to defend their land against URME and therefore render their “advanced” in-situ uranium site worthless.

Uranium prices will be higher ..... self explaanatory. This stock will follow up with the price of uranium

Goliad (Texas) is finally becoming reality and Uranium is rebounding. Although it would surprise me little if this takes a breather, it would be healthy and provide a platform to ride much higher. Full Disclosure: I have a 4-digit position long on these guys.

Good future earnings.

Dunno, I've just watched this thing go from around 0.20 to what it is today 2.95..... Jumped on this pick awalla go and still building..

Final operating permit should be issued shortly, revenue to flow in mid-2010. They are on their way.

Uranium production by second half of 2010. Solid technicals.

One of my two (2) top picks for 2009 the other being PLM. Both should receive approval to start mining their property this year. Have been following both for years. (UEC - in Texas) (PLM - in Minnesota)
Recs
The understanding that I have is that they have Uranium on their properties, and are getting thier final permits. So, they'll either mine and sell the Uranium or sell the properties to someone else. EIther way, it looks good for them.
Espeically if the country increases the amount of Nuclear power plants. Then everyone will profit.
Recs
Uranium is the future. Heating cost are scheduled to sky rocket, nuclear is cleaner and cheaper.
Recs
No debt and 25 million in cash. 1.3 million pounds uranium at its nichols project in south Texas. That is in addition to 6.9 million pounds at Goliad. Production permit for area 1 at Goliad granted by the Texas comission on environmental quality. Joint ventures with Uran Limited, and Australian uranium explorer.

energy is king, uranium is energy.
Recs
Increasing demand for uranium.

With the energy needs of the country and the cost of most raw materials. UEC could be ready to make a large move to the up side.
