I like the concept and the inroads that they've made will provide a bit of headstart when competitors start showing up. With low PE, no debt and high growth, I see UEPS outperforming. Biggest risk is dependence on government for majority of its revenue stream. However, I don't foresee any disruption next 12-18 months.

Net 1 is a leader in their field. By serving the under banked in the developing world they should do very well over the next few years.

Excellent company with outstanding prospects. Stock price may move quite a lot in the near term but the future looks bright.

After a small chart analysis it looks like the UEPS will go down for a few weeks. I think, I try my destiny.

O.k. what do we have here? For starters, we have excellent revenue and earnings growth over the last 3 years. Insiders own a lage stake in the company. UEPS is covered by only 4 analysts. Potential market is very large in this emerging market. Valuation seems to be quite reasonable judging by analyst estimates and recent price. Smart Cards are a new technology which I know very little about, but I'd say the time for learning is now.

This Rule Breaker is a classic "doing good while doing well" stock. I am actively involved in the microfinance industry. The emerging use of technology like this is critical to transforming a cash based society and reaching the rural unbanked poor, which have substantial latent purchasing power. When cash transforms into capital in the banking sector, at least twice as much capital is generated. We have experienced this in countries like Malawi where the rural poor savings accounts exceeds loans by a 2:1 margin. Smart card technology allows the poor to retain a unique identity which is crtical in countries where there is no other form of identity. For example, in Africa, the relatives of a deceased spouse can confiscate the family property. This can no longer be abused when identity is verifiable to a third party.

Good long term opportunity. Smart cards will compliment (maybe replace) local currencies in much of sub-Saharan Africa and other 3rd world loactions. Wealth will be redistributed (social programs, i.e. local versions of our Welfare System), and the banking systems are unable to address the large number of necessary transactions. Expanding markets will act as catalysts. Buy and hold.
