Healthcare in this market should be a safe place.

For profit hospitals? In this economy, are you serious?? Yes, helthcare is vital and will become more and more necessary as the US population continues to age at an increasing brisk pace. However, hospitals need cash/credit to expand and continue meeting demands. Obviously there is a lack of available credit out there right now and therefore this company will trend a bit lower. If Obama is elected, socialized medicine will tank this company and expected a share price of $0. If McCain is elected, expect this company to continue down, just at a slower pace. Either way, it be gonig down!!! Momentum play in a bad sector.

We will always need healthcare and lots of good stock choices to provide it

All us baby boomers will be needing things over the next 10 years and will need places to have them done. As an RN, I see healthcare stocks as always a sure bet. Sometimes they may go down, but in the long run- they seem to maintain their value

A great play on health care with a company that just beat their quarterly numbers on 4/25.

Let's just say I like health care stocks about now - everybody's affected by a downturn in the economy, but that doesn't prevent people from seeking healthcare.
