Nucl...nucle...I know, it's a devil of a word, but there's money in it! I'm just waiting to discover the 'fallout' from this Russia deal.
Recs
Great Nuclear Stock.
Recs
good results in past undervalued 7.42 for this company?. Bargain. Good stock for a long run. Just wait 1-3 years. Good investment.
Recs
USU has guaranteed government funding for future nuclear endeavors.
Recs
Serious enriched uranium shortages projected for the future. This company has a virtual monopoly on refining. Down because the company is having to pour all their dough and then some into a hugely expensive new centrifuge project, but this is just short-term thinking. Long-term they'll rule.

Really has to get past the current issues around funding for their new technology. Then they must profit from a nuclear power resurgence around the world.
Recs
The American centrifuge project is valid. Margins will increase with the lower enriching costs. Nuclear production of electricity will increase with time because oil will rise and with global warming, the concerns with carbon emissions will also be pivitol in directing a production of energy to solar and nuclear. If the worry about nuclear spent waste is a problem, my argument is that first, it will be less of a problem than the example of Greenland melting, and second, technology will solve the waste problem many, many times faster than the half life of spent uranium. My crystal ball says there will be a shift from fossil fuels to clean energy production in the next 10 years to save quality of life and meeting the needs of the future.
Recs
Most underpriced uranium stock out there.
Recs
uranium processing, is down secondary to heavy investment in new generation enrichment technology which is spin off from US government
Recs
I think the stock is very attractively priced right now with P/E 6-7, P/S <1, P/B <1 and EV/EBITDA 4-5. The reason for negativity is the inherent risk factors. Risk factors for current ops -> DOC might say that anti-dumping price control on russian uranium should be lifted following a remand from court. Next is rising electricity cost to enrich uranium cost (70% of all costs). Risk factors for future American Centrifuge Project -> Do not know if it will work, if it works do not know if it can be started on time or within projected expenses. ALso, threats from competition including URENCO starting an enrichment facility using centrifgue tech in new mexico.
Stregnths - world demand for uranium enrichment, US govt support for USEC, good mgmt that has worked hard on restricting operational costs with current ops, DOC likely to rule in favor of USEC, USA has 7% of world uranium reserves, mgmt signing new contracts and backlog has grown over time, USEC will not be embarking on centrifuge project if they did not think it would work, if Centrifuge project works apparently it will be better than URENCO's centrifuge.

beaten back down into the ground on general market weakness after a recent recovery attempt. at 8 bucks and change worth the risk. I like nuclear as other "green" options won't keep the lights on in the near future.

8x earnings for unranium enrichment capabilities? Sign me up. Looking for a chance to exit at $20 plus within a year.

They are beginning to price in their favor. Also, a government loan guarantee is coming within the next year.

its nuclear but if its cheaper they will buy

Nuke power? , of course we need more power.
Aren't we? Remember the old day of Enron?
We need power. Stock price will tell us.
Recs
Totally dependent upon others for uranium, has no assets itself and therefore won't benefit from the coming long-term surge in uranium prices. Technology in liquid fluoride reactors is likely to become obsolete within 2-3 years.
