This is about as easy as it gets. I can't come up with one logical reason why this stock would be worth its current price. This seems like an easy double from current levels in a year. The funniest part is that analysts act like the company has stopped growing altogether.

1) Solid company (no debt, good management, good business model)
2) Solid fundamentals
a) ROIC - about 35% both on 5 year and 1 year
b) Equity growth - 65% - 80% in 1-5 year time frame
c) Sales growth - 25% - 60% in 1-10 year time frame
d) EPS growth - bouncy, but still 60%-80% in 1-3 year time frame
e) FCF growth - bouncy, but 102% - 188% in 1-3 year time frame

No reason for this dramatic a selloff. Internet security is, and will be, major business. The company is solid. Easy pick.

This is a great company. Look at their history of strong revenue and and earnings growth. Their balance sheet is extremely strong with no debt and tons of cash. I view this as a tremendous value right now. The recent price drop (due to delayed orders requested by customers) makes this an unbelievable bargain.

Very undervalued, recommended by Fool experts, and that's enough for me. This is why we diversify folks, and I believe speculation is needed in your portfolio to keep you interested. Another direct quote from Cramer.

Banks paying late moved income from last quarter to this qtr, and without any real problems with the company, the 38% drop alone should be recouped from here on out.

Solid International company; computer security for financial instit'ns doing business on internet/computers in a world that is seeing more risks in this area. If things just go as they are they'll see solid profits and growth; but if we have a few internet security glitches for banks, brokerages, etc. internationally these guys could get real busy. With the recent 30+ % drop when they met vice exceeded mngmt's forecast earnings (and did so with three major contract deliveries elayed) they got hammered. Still cannot figure out why -- some say Mr. Market is not logical.

The Main reason this company missed the streets numbers (not so much their own) was that 3 large clients put off installation of the product. Clients don't purchase in a timely manner to make their vendors' reports looks good, the do all they do in the interest of their own companies. Since Q4, 2/3 of the clients are on track, and the third is simply not ready, but will be soon. Sounds like a panic sell to me. Time to go bargain hunting. I owned some before, bought more after the big drop.

Let's just say I am going to be a follower on this one!

The last time Vasco was priced in the $11 range was in the fall of 2006. It hit a high of $42.00+ about a year later.
With it's growth rate and track record anything under $16 is a good buy. It should be above $20 by this fall.

With the recent 30%+ drop, an incredible buying opportunity has presented itself for this stock. The latest quarterly earnings were down but that is due mostly to three large transactions which were pushed out a quarter and will show up in the next quarter's earnings. I'm getting in now before the market realizes the mistake it has made.

Revenue missed targets slightly (from $36.6M expected to $31M realized in 2007) because 3 big orders were backlogged for 2008.
Net Income dropped about 25% for the same reason, plus the company is expanding (reinvesting)... and the market sheds 75% of its value since October ????
C'MON, PEOPLE! It is still the same company!
This is a screaming buy.

Vasco has been unfairly and disproportionately beaten down over the past six months. They are a market leader in their field and should not be that affected by a US depression since they target European and Asian markets more than the US.

I like the CEO of this company and the numbers do not reflect "actual' growth and potential. Postioned to take full advantage of client base and exspansion contracts that in the end will out pace the market! All that and the shares are well below intrinsic value....good time to get in.

The market leader in internet/financial transaction security.
A big dip today brings a great buy-in opportunity.
I have watched this stock for a full six months, and finally have my price. Watch this stock beat the S&P.

Good company caught in a bad short-term overreaction to missing quarterly numbers. It'll will rebound, and more...

The market took too heavy-a-hand on this stock today. At this price, a long term hold seems like a good idea.

This is my first rating of any stock so for what it is worth from a new fool, the stock price of Vasco (11.90) seems to be a knee jerk reaction to missing 4th quarter street projections. I listened to the teleconference discussing 4th qtr results hosted by their Chairman, Ken Hunt. His comment on disappointng quarter was that three large orders were delayed until 2008 for three different reasons which are now resolved and the orders will be completed. He also pointed out that the last two quarters of 2008 did meet company guidance and the fact the street projected better returns is out of his control. With the actural numbers for 2007 showing revenue growth of 58%, operating income of 28% of revenue, net cash balance increase of 200% and continued investment into infrastructure to secure future growth, things don't look that dire. The 2008 guidance called for slightly lower projections over 2007 still look pretty solid. I doubled up on my shares and am going to hold on for the long term. I look forward to reading comments from other fools about today's events.

Tech has been battered recently. VDSI is going to be around for a long time and this is a good opportunity to get in.
